Let your voice be heard. American for Prosperity Tidewater Virginia Advocates invites you to our crucial 2026 Legislative Session Lobbyist Training. This intensive session is designed to equip our most dedicated advocates with the knowledge, strategy, and confidence necessary to effectively engage legislators and drive policy change in Richmond.

The 2026 session will be pivotal for protecting economic freedom and opportunity in Virginia. We must ensure our voices are heard on core issues that directly impact Tidewater families and businesses.

Training Focus Areas

This year's training will provide deep dives and actionable lobbying strategies on the following five critical policy pillars:

  1. Education: Advancing school choice and parental rights to ensure every child has access to quality education.

  2. Energy: Advocating for market-driven energy solutions that promote reliability and affordability.

  3. Right to Work: Defending Virginia’s foundational Right to Work laws against legislative threats.

  4. Healthcare: Promoting free-market reforms to expand access and reduce costs for all Virginians.

  5. Housing: Tackling regulatory barriers to increase supply and affordability in the housing market.

    Time 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. 

    Dinner will be provided this will be a 4-session class.
