I'm writing to express my strong disapproval for the proposed "Clean Transportation Standard" and concern for what it would mean for hard-working Minnesotans like me. This cost increase would not only raise the gas prices for all Minnesota residents but would also impact the costs of all goods and services - increasing costs to be adjusted for this unnecessary inflation. I'd like to be able to save money to spend on things important to me, rather than doling out even more for fees and taxes that are recklessly and negatively impacting Minnesota residents.
I respectfully ask the Minnesota Legislature and Governor to vote against this harmful cost increase. Please consider how this proposed fee will negatively impact every Minnesotan.

The Democrat-controlled legislature is proposing a new cost increase that will make Minnesota's fuel costs the most extreme and most expensive in the country - surpassing even states like California, Oregon, and Washington. This proposal has been labelled the "Clean Transportation Standard" or CTS and could lead to an extra $0.45 - $1.00 fee per gallon on top of the increased gas tax. This equates to $686 million - $3.42 billion per year in increased fuel costs that hard-working Minnesotans will have to bear.

This is an economic burden born on the backs of hard-working Minnesotans that will have an impact everywhere, increasing the cost of living even more. These awful anti-economic policies are adding up and Minnesotans will be paying the price at the pump. The very people that Democrats claim to be helping will be hurting the most.
