Kansas' Supreme Court is one of the most overturned courts in the
country and we are the only state in the country that not only uses the
Missouri selection plan, but we allow attorneys to control the process. More
than 70% of Kansans agree it's time to change how our judges are selected!

Currently, an unelected commission of nine individuals, most of
whom are attorneys, picks our state’s Supreme Court justices. The court wields
significant power over issues that impact the lives of all Kansans. Allowing
one single industry to play such an important role in the selection of our
entire third branch of government removes accountability and gives power to a select group of special
interests.

I'm asking you to change our process to give every Kansan a voice in our state government, not only attorneys.
