I am asking you to bring HB 3021 or the Small Business Regulatory Freedom Act to the Senate floor. Regulation is entirely out of control in South Carolina, making it increasingly difficult for small businesses to do business there. Our administrative state is crushing the heart and soul of our community.
Furthermore, overregulation drives businesses to raise their prices to stay in business. The higher prices make the lives of South Carolinians already dealing with the previous effects of high inflation far worse. We must rein in regulations and pass the Small Business Regulatory Freedom Act.
