Ohio has been working hard to reduce red tape preventing competition and innovation in the market. Senate Bill 125 would add new licenses that roofers would have to obtain in order to legally operate in Ohio. This would negatively impact small businesses and independent contractors by adding a new financial burden and hurdle they have to overcome, and thereby limiting competition in the market should some of these small business owners and independent contractors be unable to afford such burdens.
