This upcoming legislative session, you have the opportunity to transform the lives of Georgia’s K-12 students.
More flexibility and unique educational opportunities are needed to allow our students to build strong educational foundations.
Every child has potential and deserves a quality education that helps them develop and discover their passions. Families deserve the best for their children. Quality educational opportunities should be available to ALL students, regardless of ZIP code.
Education has the power to transform lives and communities, and together we hold the power to create a K-12 system that allows for a diverse set of options necessary to help every child succeed.
Senate Bill 233 accomplishes just that. With state-funded Promise Scholarship Accounts, all participating students will be provided with $6500 per school year to be utilized for tuition payments, required textbooks, tutoring, and online programming.
Senate Bill 233 empowers families to have the freedom to access a range of educational services tailored to their child’s unique learning needs, eliminates top-down burdens on hardworking educators, and helps shift the K-12 system from a standardized model to a personalized model.
This is why I’m asking you to support SB 233, and include ALL students, including mine, so Georgia’s families and students can find the educational environment that best fits their unique needs!
