- In South Dakota, failure to renew the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will cost the average South Dakotan family $2,421. Businesses will see a $1,017 increase in corporate taxes and on the whole, South Dakota could lose over 2,107 jobs.
- Over 57% of employees in South Dakota are employed by a small business.
- If the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) is not renewed, hardworking South Dakotan employees and businesses will be the first to get hit with higher federal tax rates.
