Thank you for supporting the "SAFE Banking Act" and promoting increased public safety. Federal agencies should not be picking winners and losers by preventing certain types of businesses in many states from being able access to the bank of their choice. Businesses that are fully complying with our laws should not be forced to operate on a cash-only basis only because federal bureaucrats do not like the types of products they sell to their customers.
Cash-centered transactions often increase the risk of robbery, theft, and other crimes. Lack of access to banks and potential investors harms thousands of small businesses across the country and hampers our economic growth. Plus, allowing the government to pick winners and losers is a violation of our shared principles as conservatives and undermines the free-market system that has made America the best country in the world.

These actions force legal businesses to operate on a cash-only basis and create dangerous situations for all involved by making them targets for violence and theft. Access to financial capital is a vital necessity for the creation and success of family and small businesses and a core foundation of a free market system.
