What does it mean to give the last full measure of devotion and why does it still matter today?

In this interactive One Small Step event, we’ll reflect on the more than one million Americans from the Revolution to today who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedoms, giving what Abraham Lincoln called “the last full measure of devotion.”

Together, we’ll pause to remember the fallen, consider the principles they defended, and explore how their sacrifice continues to shape our nation and the future of the American Dream.

You’ll leave with a simple opportunity to take One Small Step by honoring their legacy through a Memorial Day moment of silence, recognizing a fallen hero, or participating in a local act of remembrance in your community.
