The American people expect leaders in Washington to do their jobs on behalf our nation, regardless of party. The current government shutdown is another example of partisanship and politics hurting families, businesses, and communities across the country.

Every day Washington remains closed means delayed paychecks, stalled loans, closed parks, and vital services put on hold. Congress must do its job: pass a Continuing Resolution now to reopen the government, protect the livelihoods of hardworking Americans, and keep our country moving forward.
